I got blisters on every single run the first two months of training for my first marathon. I looked up Women's Running in Amazon, and up popped these socks. After ordering a pair to try out, I soon fell in love. I have not had a single blister since. My feet are also cooler and drier than with my old socks. Definitely recommend to runners or people who get blisters easily.

I've been on a quest to get decent ankle socks for a while. I tried to cheap sets and found them to either to shrink significantly after washing and/or to slide down in the shoe--and often come off when I take the shoe off. These are more expensive but quite comfortable, haven't shrunk, and stay on the feet.

For those like me prone to blisters, the construction of WrightSocks helps reduce the friction on the skin during hiking and exercise. These Cool Mesh socks don't provide as much protection as the Comfort version I usually prefer, but they're great for hot weather when perspiration and heat make all foot covering uncomfortable.

Had previously purchased these socks at an REI in Denver, CO. All three of these pairs are unravelling at the seam where the two darker colors are sewn together on the side of the foot. and, after only one washing!!! Too bad, as it appears that QC was non-existent on these.

Best running sock on the market. I run 50-60 miles a week and don't wear any other brand of socks. They have the perfect balance between fit and cushioning. Even on long runs the socks wick away moisture and your feet stay dry and blister free. A warning about the anklet sock of the same brand. This sock is good for short runs or speed workouts. Not good for long runs because the top of sock around the ankle tends to slide down into your shoe.

The socks performed as I expected. I had tried a pair I got around home to make sure I would like them, also a friend refered them to me. They performed well, as I have used them in 4 trail races to date and have not had any foot issues. Blisters,etc. I would recomend these to any trail runner I know.

I wear an 11W in women's shoes, bought the size Large, and they fit perfectly. I love the no-sock look with my sneakers. I don't live in a very cold climate, so these are warm enough for me 99% of the time. They are very comfortable for either working out or daily wear. The back tab on the ankle is very important to prevent shoes from rubbing up against the crook of the ankle. These are my favorite lo-cut style from Wrightsock. They do not pill, shed or leave fuzz behind at all. The only drawback is that they do get pulled threads & the elastic wears out rather quickly & easily, hence the four stars instead of five. The quarter socks don't seem to have this problem, just the lo-cut ones that are very thin like these are. For the time they last, though, they are comfortable, they breathe & they look good.

These are my all time favorite running socks. The originals were also good, but much thicker so they got pretty hot. But the 'coolmesh' on these does a great job of keeping your feel cool and blister free.

I'm not a serious runner, I only run 3-6 miles, 2-4 times a week. But even at that mileage, shoes and socks start to get pretty important.
I used to get Blisters on a couple toes almost every time I ran... Now with these socks... no more blisters... happy feet! Worth the money.
The two layers of the sock allow the friction to take place in between the layers and away from my skin.
This is my second time buying these, the first ones are still holding out fine after a couple years... so I think the quality is pretty good.

I love these socks and have been loyal to the brand since 2001 when I trained for the Marine Corps Marathon and would wear nothing but the Wrightsock. They are thin, not bulky like some running socks. The double layer of fabric keeps your feet comfy and from getting blisters. The mesh uppers allow your feet to breathe easy. These socks are absolutely the best and I've tried a bunch. Even for shorter 3-5 mile runs I wouldn't go without these socks. Be sure though that you watch for wear and rotate them out appropriately. Once the outer layer begins to wear out you'll need to throw them out and replace them. They last a long time, several months of long runs, but don't get too thrifty and wear them past their durability or you will end up getting blisters. Happy Running!

I've been using these double layer wrightsocks for over 10 years and I've been extremely happy with their performance to minimize blisters in long distance runs (5 to 26 miles). The layers are thin so they will wear a hole in the bottom over time, but I learned that they held up very well if I only wore them when running (ie if you wear them around the house without shoes on, they will wear out significantly faster). My only complaint is the cost, but even that I think is worth it; you get your money's worth if you take care of them and as I've learned to, and only wear them when you need them on. I like the quarter-socks a little better than the low cut ones since the higher ones prevent any rubbing of the shoe against the back on the ankle.
