I bought some of the Kiwi Smiling Feet Heel Liners for a pair of tennis shoes I had that killed my feet because of the lack of heel support. The heel liners worked wonders and are still sticking well despite frequent wear and exercise in the shoes. I was going to buy another set for some new wedges I bought, but the store was out and I settled for the Dr Scholls heel liners. Big mistake. The stickiness wore off on their brand within 5 minutes, needless to say, I would suggest Kiwi's Smiling Feet heel liners over this brand!

I've had a nasty fissure for 3&1/2 months now. I'm sure it was deep muscle tissue damage because of the constant spasms of the sphincter muscle. Anyway, not pretty. With the combination of really warm/hot sitz baths twice a day, witch hazel, doctor-prescribed muscle relaxant cream (applied to anus prior to b/m), and the Dr. Wheatgrass Superbalm, my fissure is feeling a lot better. I'd say about 90% healed after three weeks of use. I know the Wheatgrass is helping because I was doing the same ritual above (with minimal improvement) before I broke down and bought the Superbalm. Before the Superbalm came along, it felt like the fissure was healing, but each time I had a b/m I ruined what little healing progress that occurred. The Superbalm seems to be able to heal the wound faster (with the help of the increased blood flow from the sitz baths - it's like a sort of team effort). I was so skeptical of the Wheatgrass, but desperation makes you do crazy things; thus I broke down and bought it. After reading the information on Dr. Wheatgrass' site, I'd say they've over-glorified the product somewhat - so I suggest sticking to stool softeners or fibre or whatever works for you in keeping the poop soft to allow further healing. Also, I don't believe using the cream alone will heal a fissure - like everything else it takes work. Overall, the Superbalm worked well for me in helping heal my fissure, though it does re-open every now and then (you just have to be persistent and keep up with the cream). I really hope it does eventually heal completely. I know I wouldn't be 90% healed without it; in fact, I'd probably be at the point now where surgery would be one of my options (ew!). Thank you Dr. Wheatgrass for this!

After using an "all-natural" gum (that contained cane sugar) and getting my first cavity in 12 years after 6 months of use, I knew I needed a switch. I heard about Xylitol from a naturopathic student, that basically, the bad bacteria in your mouth feed on Xylitol but they can't digest it, and the good bacteria can eat it, so they proliferate. I thought I had tried other Xylitol gums in the past and didn't like them, but I decided to give this another chance because I want a gum to chew after meals that is actually good for my teeth. I was pleasantly surprised at the Spry gum! It has a great flavor (which goes away pretty soon after chewing, but it's a nice shot of good taste), but the best part is that the gum itself has a great texture to it and continues to be fun to chew for as long as you want. It doesn't even turn hard after drinking water like most gums do. I am a medical student so I did a search of the research literature and the claims of Xylitol are more than proven. However, all of the literature and research studies explain that you need 4-12 g of Xylitol a day (no need to get more than 15), but the average piece of gum has .75-1 g, so you'll need to chew at least 4-5 pieces a day to get the dental benefits (chewing it only sporadically, i.e. once a day, did NOT show any dental benefits). No problem for me, I chew one after every meal (I have 5-6 a day), and love having the fresh clean feeling as well as knowing that I'm doing something great for my teeth.

Arrived in a timely manner. 8% is a bit strong for use. Instructions are included to cut it down to 3% for use on scratches and open cuts on the body. I use it to brush teeth. It kills the bacteria on the teeth and mouth sores... Do Not swallow it... Rinse mouth after use... Food Grade doesn't have the heavy metals for stabilizers as the drug store type does.. Must be kept in the ice box.
Many books on Amazon on use of H2O2.
Update 10/2011: Don't use to (3%HP) brush teeth if you have fillings. Don't know for sure, but the 3% might effect the glue used to hold fillings in.... But, I spray my tooth brushes before used to kill bacteria.
Also, discovered that using 3% SPRAYED ON joint rash (sticky kind) dries it up and takes away the sting.... Works also on under arm odor.
Great for killing mold. There is a yellow mold that gets on the bath room sink and shower due to the super efficient water softener and filter system (takes out all the chlorine). The 3% kills yellow mold dead.
Just my opinions use your own judgment...

I had a few rose bushes that were close to an end and I was thinking of replacing them when a friend suggested this idea... I watered the plants twice a week with a gallon of water and 20 drops of 8% food grade solution and in 4 weeks my roses are healthier than ever before. I am just delighted at how healthier they are now. It is amazing how the leaves are so healthy with a great shine and the flowers...
I highly recommend it and I have started using it for all my roses.

These really work! While I haven't used these on my feet, I always bring them when we go hiking. My youngest daughter had some new boots on our last hiking trip, and she started to form some blisters. We put 2nd Skin on her and didn't hear any more complaints for the rest of the trip. In fact, she actually said it felt good. My only complaint about this particular kit is that it doesn't come with enough of the adhesive strips, but I have a feeling duck tape might work in their place.

Bought these batteries to go with a pedometer I purchased for my husband for Christmas. Here it is one week later and he is on his third battery!! Each battery dies in less than 4 days. Shipping was slow, too. Don't waste your money on these.
