I bought these socks to wear with my Vibram five fingers shoes. They fit perfectly with the shoes and keep my feet comfortable and dry. I don't like the feeling of shoes with no socks. My only wish is that they were cheaper! I would like to own several more pairs but the price is holding me back.

I am an avid hiker/backpacker/scrambler and a recent convert to Hydropel. I bought it for a week long backpacking trip on a section of the PCT. There were four men, including myself, on this trip. We shared a single tube of Hyrdopel during this trip and it had sufficient volume, with some left at the end of the trip.
Hydropel on its own will not be enough to prevent blisters. You must still take care of the #1 essential: properly fitting boots. Without a comfortable and broken-in boot you will still get blisters. However, combine a good, comfortable boot, wool hiking socks, liner socks, and hydropel and you have a recipe for blister free travel.
Also, based on a recommendation from a hiking blog I read (www.sectionhiker.com), one of our group members on our section hike (not me) tried hydropel on the monkey butt he developed on day 2 of the hike. His report? Success!

I purchased these as a second set of compression sleeves so that one could be in the wash. The other pair I have are the 2XU sleeves that I bought for a LOT more money at a local running store. Although the 2XUs are a little cooler (temperature-wise), being all Lycra, the CEP sleeves offer much better compression. No only do I have rather impressive varicose veins that get more pronounced and painful when I run, I recently switched my gait to a mid-foot strike from a heel strike to cut down on knee and hip injury, and my calves were screaming until I started using compression sleeves. These sleeves provide more than ample support for both issues. There is a noticeable difference in the reduced amount of calf pain I experience with these sleeves over the 2XUs. Also, these look a bit more like socks, so they don't look quite so weird when I'm wearing them to run or bike.

Recenlty saw these socks on Amazon and since I had never heard of such a concept, I figured I'd read a couple reviews, do a little online researching and give'em a whirl.
They are AWESOME!!! Just received them this morning and immediately tried them out - They certainly have a unique feel, since I'm not normally accustomed to having something between my toes- but I quickly got use to them after about 30-45 mintues of wear. They are extremely comfortable and after being on for about a hour or so I actually had forgotten that my toes now had their own little separate compartments to rest in.
I travel extensively (middle east, southeast asia, south america, U.S. East coast) and I have no doubt these socks will wear extremely well - curently they're getting their initiation in the middle east; I spend a lot of time on my feet in a variety of shoe styles and paticipating in everything from running to walking to jumping to driving so I'm looking forward to seeing how they wear over time.
Initial thoughts:
Takes a little longer to put on then normal socks - but well worth the extra time
Very soft and comfortable on the feet and toes
a little extra time in removing them as well since you have to pull the little toes back out - but once again, well worth the effort thus far.
I will definitely update this review in about 3-4 months to let everyone know how they're holding up

I had a pair of the Performance Mini Crew Ininji toe socks, but alas I left them in a hotel room in LA. I find that toe socks, in general, are great for long runs. They keep me from getting blisters where my toes rub together. So, I decided to get these to replace my lost toe socks. I won't lie: I bought this pair because I like the way they look. Overall I like them. I see two very minor drawbacks that made me dock one star. The first is that they do not come as far up on the ankle as I'd like. The size I bought says 11-13 on the package, and I am about a 12.5 US, but they seem like they are just half an inch too low around the back of the ankle. I may get the next size up next time. The second issue is likely a matter of personal preference. The bottom and toe area of this sock is thicker thant the standard Performance Mini Crew I had before. It is taking me some time to get used to the extra amount of fabric between my toes. I do find the sensation to be slightly uncomfortable when I first put them on, but my feet gradually adjust to their new normal. I can see how the extra padding and support on the bottom of the sock will be helpful on longer runs, but I will likely get another pair of the Performance Mini Crews, as I found them to be more comfortable.

I bought these socks when I started training for a marathon. I'm about 3/4 way through my training, and I wear these socks every time I have a longer distance (12+ miles) run. They are great. I've had trouble in the past with traditional running socks, getting blisters between my toes, and having bruised toenails. Since wearing these socks, I've had less bruising, and NO blisters at all. I will be buying more if I continue to distance run after I finish this training program and run the marathon.

I wanted to give this product to my daughter for a serious review of its effectiveness. This is her take on the item.
As a dancer majoring in ballet at university, I wanted to try out Band-Aid's new Friction Block Stick to see if it would help prevent me from getting blisters from my pointe shoes.
When I received this product, the first positive aspects that I noticed were its small compact size, no mess simple design, and its good smell. The actual application of the product, however, was somewhat awkward and felt much like putting deodorant on my feet and toes. I did not sense any significant change in the feel or friction of my shoes, but I do believe it helped a bit. The only other downside to this product was that it cannot be applied on blisters or open sores which is disappointing to me because these are the areas that I would most want to protect from friction.
Overall, I think this product would be good for the average shoe wearer whose shoes don't fit perfectly, someone who is wearing new shoes for the first time, or a lady putting on heels before a big night out. If you are looking for serious coverage, though, it looks like the plain old band-aid is still the best way to go.

These are the best socks I have ever worn . The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that putting them on and taking them off is a little time consuming . I find myself just leaving them on for four or five days in a row just to avoid the process ,(LOL).
Just kidding, but they really are very comfortable and keep my feet high and dry. I wish I could find them in white,otherwise; I highly recommend them. They take a little getting use to , but once that is done ,WOW !!!!!!!!!

I purchased this item thinking it would be bigger but the price was decent so it worked out. It does work well to keep your feet blister free but you need to put on a good amount to make this happen. The next time I order, I will order Peaches and Boo Boo Foot elixir cream. This was recommended to me by several people. It is pricey but I understand it works very well and lasts forever.

I have been buying this for over a year now, and I can't live without it. I am a professional chef, and work under very hot and sweaty conditions at a fast pace everyday. Chaffing has always been an issue and at times a very painful one. I have tried other powders and such, but they all wear off within a few hours. Blue steel lasts all day long! I know that it is intended for running and other sports, but anyone who has a physically demanding job should have some. They should have called it "blue collar work cream" instead. If you are even looking at this, you need it! Don't work/play through the pain anymore! Relief is here!

I have purchased many Injinji socks before and loved them, so my expectations were high. However this pair was a disappointment.
I a female that wears size 7.5 shoe. I purchased size small of these socks which with other styles of Injinji socks fit perfectly. However these sock have a different shape in several dimensions, and don't fit well.
To illustrate the difference I am attaching a picture showing them overlayed by the size small Rainbow Injinji injinji Ecomade Performance Mini Crew Toesocks sock purchased at the same time. You can see that solid light blue sock is wider, longer, and most importantly the toes have a different shape. Even though the big toes of both socks are the same length, the other toes of this sock are increasingly longer. Because of this shape there is a lot of extra material hanging off from the pinky toe. I am also attaching a photo of the socks on my feet, and you can see a good fit on a big toe, but not on the toes starting with a middle one.
The socks are also loose around your leg, and I suspect they will droop at the end of the day around your ankle.
I like the feel of the wool by touch, but after wearing the socks for a couple of hours my feet began to inch.
Finally, a note on packaging. The socks arrived stapled right through the center to the cardboard. My brand new expensive socks start with some damaged fibers right in the center of the sole. None of the other Injunji socks I purchased from Amazon are packaged that way. Photo attached.
I am a big fan of Injinji socks, and will be buying more, just not this particular style. I cannot recommend these socks!

I've always loved the outdoors and have easily gotten blisters in the past, but when I decided to take on the challenge of walking the AVON Walk For Breast Cancer in Washington, DC in 2010, I knew I had to find something to prevent those blisters from taking over.
I paid attention to the directions and as instructed, applied a generous amount all over my feet before putting on my shoes and socks. I walked a total of 26 miles in just 2 days using this product on my feet (re-applying maybe every 6 miles or so). Unlike many others, I walked away with NO blisters. Of course my feet and muscles were sore, but I was up and walking easily thanks to the lack of blisters that this amazing product helped with.
I absolutely plan to purchase this product again and will be using it on all my hiking excursions this summer!
