Compeed Blister Relief Pack plasters Review

I was alpine ski touring for a week in Switzerland. I xixed shell and boot liner - a bad combo which led to 4 quarter-sized blisters - 2 on each foot on each side of my ankle. A friend on the trip had Compeed's and they worked wonders keeping the blisters covered and sealed away from my sweaty ski socks and allowing me to continue on the trip (despite each step being painful). Had the exposed blisters become infected it would have turned into a serious health emergency in a foreign country.
I recently developing a very small blister while playing volleyball for 6 hours. Small enough that I let it heal through the week. Unfortunately I went on a 17 mile hike the weekend after playing volleyball and the blister came back, bigger a better than before. I put my last Compeed on it and it worked great. Unfortunately I went on a river float that had been organized for months the next day and the Compeed was covered in water for 4 hrs. After 3.5hrs it finally came loose off the blister.
Since then I've been working with the Bandaid blister brand and they simply fall short (and off). They are smaller, come off easier due to moisture and overall is not the best product out there for blister relief while participating in high output activities. Stick with Compeed's if you can get your hands on them.
