I bought this product on whim hoping for a quality product. It was at a vendor booth in Costco of all places. I read the label and it was full of amazing ingredients I already used in other health and beauty products with great results. I was indeed hoping for a miracle so I bought it even though it was more than I would usually pay for lip care. So glad I did, I cannot live without it now!
The first time I it my lips absorbed it pretty quickly and brought great immediate relief for the tight dryness. However, it is also my new beauty secret too. After using it for a few days my lips started to peel a thin layer of skin off. It was like the tight dull skin on the outside burst right open because my lip tissue beneath was so plump it could not contain it. When it first started to peel I was concerned and thought maybe I should stop using this stuff. I still used it though because it feels so much better than the petroleum based products to wear. After a week I seriously thought my lips looked plumper and more rosie looking. I figured it was just me because they were just feeling healthier. However, my co-worker asked me if I bought a new lip gloss or something. I asked why and she said they looked fuller and more younger looking than before. Then my husband also noticed my lips were softer and fuller after a good morning kiss. So I guess it wasn't just me.
I use this stuff under my lipstick and gloss, but mostly alone. I'll also put it under an SPF lip balm for when I'll be outside for awhile too. I have used this on a bug bite that started to look infected also and it brought the redness way down. I have had this stuff about three months now and plan to have some on hand all the time now. I am not one to write many reviews, but when you like something enough you just want to! Glad to see it is on Amazon, I'll for sure have some in my next order.
