I purchased these guards to protect the top third of my middle finger after severely injuring it in a door and needing surgery. I was at the stage where I didn't want or need to wear gauze and wrappings anymore, but still needed my finger protected and not visible as I don't even have a nail yet and it looks pretty unsightly! The middle sized protector that came with the set was the best fit for me. I won't be using the other 2 at all. They are washable and stay on very well. I will need to be ordering more as I will be wearing these for months to come.
