I use this to cover my ScarAway Long Silicone Scar Healing Sheets. I have two knee replacements with long knee scars. I also have a pacemaker recently implanted leaving a scar.
The scar healing sheets stay on the pacemaker scar without adhesive. But the sheets curl up on my knees due to activity. I place the adhesive over the scar sheets and this keeps it in place. One thing that is especially appealing is that the sheets are the least noticeable way I have found to attach the scar healers. All adhesive tapes are more noticeable colors. I tried the self adhering knit wrap (which is also a good color, but they roll together on my knees and do not stay positioned. Another use i have for these is to securing my corn removal pads to my toes. I've tried the knit wrap which stretches and comes off. With these sheets, I cut them to the width and length needed and wrap around my toe, securing one end to the other. They keep the corn pad in place without any movement. With many tapes, there is movement. I even go in the water with them (shower, pool, lake). White cloth tape and paper tape also work, but I prefer the less obvious "skin" tone during the summer. I am so happy to have found these. If you are having trouble keeping a bandage on any spot on your body, I would suggest trying these cut to a size larger than the bandage on all sides. I think it will do the trick for you.
